It was a real journey for me to understand that what society thinks of me is not who I really am.

It's easy to get carried away by the praise or insults that people throw at you. But remember the words of others define you only if you let it.

Many around me have told me that I was a failure because I could never get good grades even though I studied really hard. That's just how bad my memory is but as the years went by I saw I had potential. I never thought I could write poems but I started and fell in love with the art.

3 years back I said " I may be able to write poems but I can never be a writer because I can't put my thoughts down on paper" and 3 years later I have a blog.

What I'm trying to say is, I thought I could not do a lot of things but spoiler alert I can. If I set my mind I know I can do it. And so can you. The only thing in your way is your mind, you must truly want to do it to reach your goal.

Don’t let what someone says get in your way and always be ready for criticism. Society does have standards for everything, you can use it positively by trying to improve yourself but don’t beat yourself over it.

Let society be a motivation for you to work on yourself and not a factor that breaks you down.
